About The Teacher

I am excited to start my second year as a Longhorn at Cactus Ranch!  What a 
great group of students I get to teach each day.  Our focus in Wellness class 
is to help our students to become lifelong movers.  We learn how our bodies 
work and how to make healthy food and lifestyle choices.  Each day we work on 
our fitness level, teamwork, sportmanship, coordination and sports skills.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and proudly wear burnt 
orange each College Thursday.  My husband and I have three children:  Taylor 
attends RRHS (GO Dragons!), Brooke attends Walsh Middle School (GO Wildcats!) 
and Hunter is here at Cactus Ranch (GO Longhorns!).

We are a sports-oriented family and spend a lot of time watching and playing 
different games and sports.  I love to run, swim and hang out with my family 
and friends.  My favorite sport to watch is football,especially the Longhorns 
and Dallas Cowboys. My favorite sport to play is basketball.  I love to watch 
my students at their sporting events so let me know if you have a big game 
coming up!
