About The Teacher

Dear Cactus Ranch Family,

I am excited to be teaching your child this year.  My passion is teaching
Kindergarten and being apart of your child's first school year experience.  I
believe that the first year of school is an important one and helps lay the
foundation for the years to follow.  My hope is that your child falls in love
with learning!

This will be my seventh year teaching at Cactus Ranch.  I love working with 
children and have enjoyed my teaching experience.  I am a graduate of
Southwest Texas University with a bachelor degree in Early Childhood
Education.  I grew up in the Round Rock school district and I feel blessed to
be working at Cactus Ranch.

My husband Michael and I have been married for 7 years.  We have a beautiful
little girl, Lilly.  This past May we celebrated her first birthday.  The past
year with her has been a whirlwind.  It is amazing how fast she has grown and
changed.  We love seeing the new and different things she learns each day. 
Michael and I also enjoy going to the movies, running
and spending time with friends and family.

I am really looking forward to getting to know you and your family.  My goal
this year is to create a classroom family of life long learners.  
My desire is for your child to become an independent, responsible 
Kindergartner who loves to learn!  Our classroom is always open to parents and
visitors.  I hope that you always feel welcome.  By working together as
a team we can ensure a great year!
