About The Teacher

I am so excited to be back this year at Cactus Ranch Elementary.  This is
my second year teaching in Round Rock, but my fifth year "overall."  My
husband, Jason, and I moved to the Austin area at the beginning of last
summer so that he could pursue a much anticipated law degree.  Previously, 
we had been living in Keller, TX where I taught fourth grade and he taught AP
economics and coached basketball.  He was a fantastic teacher! :)  We have 
two "babies" Ralphie (our Westie)and our newest addition, Isaac Magill, who
will be five months old at the beginning of this year.

This year I will be teaching language arts to not only my own homeroom but
also Ms. Carter's class.  I love to write myself for many different 
purposes and am hoping to instill a love of writing in your child before the 
year is over.  I am an avid book collector and can't wait to share some of my
favorites with your children!  I am excited about this year, and all that
these new fourth graders have to offer!  I look forward to working with you 
as
well!

Since we are partners in your student's education, I am hoping this will be a
