About The Teacher
I am so excited to be here at Cactus Ranch Elementary this year!! What an honor it is to be a part of your child's life! I look forward to a fabulous year full of new challenges and lots of learning! This is my seventh year of teaching and my sixth at CRE. I feel so blessed to work at such an amazing campus with so many incredible educators! I am born and raised right here in Round Rock and am a product of our terrific Round Rock schools. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University – San Marcos) in 2004 and am certified to teach Preschool through 4th grade. On a more personal note, I have been married to my best friend, Mac, for 6 years and we absolutely love our life here in the Austin area! We have 3 “babies”, which are our dogs, BossaNova, Coco and Max! They keep us busy and very entertained! In my free time I love to hang out with my family, read, shop, watch sports and just have a good time! It is our goal at Cactus Ranch Elementary to ensure that our families are happy and satisfied with what we do.
