Cactus Ranch has established homework policies for each grade level.
Second grade’s policy includes reading with your child daily for 20 minutes
and spending additional time on other assignments or projects. Homework for
a second grader should not be more than thirty minutes a day. Homework will
be sent home on Fridays and should be returned on Thursdays.
Please have your child record their reading each day in their agenda. You
can sign or initial next to the name of the book. We expect the kids to
have books recorded in their agenda at least 4 times a week. We will be
checking the agendas each Friday.
