I can't believe that this will be my third year at Cactus Ranch. What a
wonderful learning environment! I love teaching 2nd Grade and being a
Longhorn!
I graduated from The University of Texas
with a specialization in Television production.
After 5 years at Channel 36 here in Austin,
I left my TV career to raise a family.
My husband Terry and I have two children.
Kate is 25 and graduated from
Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.
She is working for Rawlings
in Orlando and I miss her.
Jeffrey is 19 and is a freshman at Texas A&M University. He is majoring in
Construction Science.
When I returned to work, I began teaching preschool.
I taught 4 & 5 year olds for ten years and then I moved
to the Special Education department at Fern Bluff.
I received my elementary certification from
LeTourneau University and began teaching 2nd grade.
The students in my class will become confident readers and writers. They
will learn math skills and be able to problem solve. We will also dig deep
into Science and Social Studies.
My expectations are very high and I am positive that the class
will be able to achieve the goals we set.
