What behavior is expected of you in my classroom?
Blue Day - I went above and beyond what was
expected of me!
Green Day - I did exactly what was expected of me!
Yellow Day - I received 2 warnings and one mark
from my teacher. I miss 5 minutes of recess.
Orange Day - I received more than 2 warnings and
2 marks from my teacher. I miss 10 minutes of recess.
Red Day - I received more than 2 warnings and 3
marks from my teacher, or I forgot to turn in my homework. I attend study
hall instead of going to recess.

I use a clipboard to keep track of behavior in my
class. I give the children 2 verbal warnings before giving them a mark on my
clipboard. If your child receives 1 mark, then they are on a yellow for the
day and miss 5 minutes of recess. If your child gets 2 marks they are on an
orange and miss 10 minutes of recess. If your child gets 3 marks they are on a
red and go to study hall during recess. There are a few reasons that a student
may go directly to a 'RED': Homework not turned in, or a serious bad choice
made by the child.

Your child will bring home a conduct sheet in
their Tuesday Folder that will indicate their behavior for the week. You will
also see their color in their agenda everyday. I will initial the color and I
expect that you sign your child's agenda every night.
