I am a native austinite and LOVE being a teacher! I graduated from
Centenary College of Louisiana with a degree in Vocal Performance and moved
to New York City immediately after to pursue my love of the theatre and
music. I was only in NYC for a short while and came back to Austin to work
as an art dealer. It was while I was selling art that I decided to come
back to my first love, teaching.
When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family. My
husband and our two kids enjoy walking and playing at the park and in the
pool! We try and have a family game night once a week too - it's fun!
Cactus Ranch’s music classes will fill students with the joy of singing
songs together, and with the exuberance felt when making musical sounds weave
themselves into creations of symmetry and beauty, and with a lifelong
appreciation of how performing, creating, and listening to music can uplift
each of their souls.
