How often will my child have art at Cactus Ranch?
Art is on an ABCD rotation which means your child will have art once a week Monday-Thursday. Mrs.Covington and I team teach. We switch classes every other week. Your child will always have art on the same day each week and sometimes on Fit-n-Fine Fridays!Back to Top
The Art Festival takes place right here in the Art Studio #2 and consists of several ART activities. Their are 6 stations set up at the different areas in the room. #1 is Free Draw in a TIRE, #2 is Light Up , #3 is Magna Doodle , #4 is Stencils & Pencils, #5 is Magnetic Art, and #6 Foam Sculpture. Students rotate after listening to two songs on the latest and greatest Soundtracks. Students may earn trips to the Art Festival as a result of excellent behavior and these are also my subsitute plans! This allows the students and the subsitute to have an enjoyable experience in the event of my absence! Ask your young artist if they visited the ART FESTIVAL yet!Back to Top
Do you ever need volunteers? Do I have to be artistically gifted to volunteer?
YES! There is always something that I need help with from cutting paper, organizing materials, hanging artwork, and pasting things together. You do not have to be an artist to help! !Back to Top
