About The Teacher
Carol Tremaine: I am honored and blessed to be here at Cactus Ranch Elementary! I have been an educator my entire professional life. After graduating from Round Rock High School, I attended Southwestern University in Georgetown to earn my Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in special education. I then began my teaching experience in special education. After teaching several years, I earned my Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I then returned to Round Rock where I began my counseling career. I have 12 years of experience at the elementary level and 3 years at the middle school level. On a personal note, my husband of 11 years, Dan, and I are proud parents to two wonderful boys, Daniel (9 1/2 years) and Andrew (6 3/4 years) who attend Cactus Ranch. I value and treasure the time I have with my family and friends. I have a passion for working with people and welcome you to visit at any time. Please feel free to contact me at 424.8055 or carol_tremaine@roundrockisd.org. Susan Hartsfield: This is my second WONDERFUL year as a Cactus Ranch Longhorn. I have been an educator over seventeen years, the last 8 years as a counselor in Round Rock ISD. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Angelo State University in San Angelo. I earned my Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Sul Ross University in Alpine. My husband, Russell, and I have 3 grown children who all attended schools in Round Rock ISD. We enjoy biking, hiking, and camping and participating in various ministry opportunities at our church. I am on campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Please come visit our office across from the art rooms. We always welcome parents and students at any time. You can contact me at 424-8016 or Susan_Hartsfield@roundrockisd.org.
