About The Teacher
I have been teaching for a year and a half now and absolutely love it! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in December of 2007. I began teaching at Cactus Ranch weeks following my graduation. Before attending The University of Texas I attended The University of Texas at San Antonio for a year. San Antonio was a fun city, but I was glad to get back to Austin. I graduated from Westwood Highschool in 2003, and I am proud to be a product of RRISD. Much of my extended family lives in the northeast. I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan and try to head up to the northeast to visit my grandfather and my aunts and uncles when I have the time. Ever since I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I believe that before you can educate a child you must assure them that they are loved, cared for, and safe. All of my students hold a very special place in my heart. They learn from me, but I learn so much from them as well. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year here at Cactus Ranch!
