NewsFlash!

Hello Wonderful Families,

I hope that everyone got a chance to see the "blizzard" today. We got a chance to go out and play in it...wow it was FUN!!

Next week is going to be packed and fun.

Monday: We have our writing camp with Phil Bildner, this is going to be great, be sure to ask your child about it when they get home on Monday

Tuesday: **BOOK ORDERS ARE DUE**We will have our semester Science Benchmark, they are prepared, but look for their science notebooks for just a little review the night before.

Wednesday: Early release (12:45) and a choir performance

Thursday: Spelling homework is due

Friday: Flashback is due and spelling test

Wow, what a week!

In language arts we will be working on elements of non-fiction and compound words. In math we will finish tables and start linear measurement. and finally in science we are continuing our study of the solar system.

Stay warm and have a great weekend!

We are in need of tissues. We are running out quickly with all the sniffle and sneezes going around!

Don't forget that they need to be reading (reading group book counts) and working on some sort of math (flashback counts, multiplication facts) for 20 minutes every night. Also, every student has a reading group book that are to be reading at home and doing something with it. The assignment is written in their agendas. This needs to be done and may count towards their 20 minutes of reading each night.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Have a great week!
Keep learning
