Hello All,

Time is flying!  This past week we learned about using and noticing imagery in poems.  In writing we worked on combining sentences with verbs and nouns.  In math we continued multiplication.  Finally in social studies we worked on government and different parts.
This upcoming week we will work on synonyms and antonyms.  In writing we will work on picking out the subject and predicate in sentences.  In math we continue multiplication and will begin division.  Be sure to ask your child about their multiplication fast facts.  They are doing a great job, keep working on them at home!
 
Don't forget that Wednesday is an early release at 12:45 for Veteran's Day.

Don't forget that they need to be reading (reading group book counts) and working on some sort of math (flashback counts, multiplication facts) for 20 minutes every night. Also, every student has a reading group book that are to be reading at home and doing something with it. The assignment is written in their agendas. This needs to be done and may count towards their 20 minutes of reading each night.
