Kindergarten

On Wednesday January 13, 2010 we will be building a castle out of ice.  We will build it from the bottom up with ice and salt and watch it melt throughout the day. 

We need your help in building our castle.  Each child needs to bring 1 Tupperware container filled with frozen water (disposable Tupperware would be great).  You add water to a Tupperware container and put in the freezer for at least 1 full day.  It is fun to add food coloring, sprinkles, and other items to make the ice colorful. 

Please send your child with their ice in the container on Wednesday.  *If you would like your container back please have your name somewhere on it.

Please make sure to dress your child in appropriate attire for the weather.  We have recess every day and will go out as long as it is above 45 degrees and it is not raining. Thanks for all your help!

 Here are some important things to remember:

• Send extra clothes for accidents.
• Please put all money that you send in an envelope with the child's full name, teacher, grade level, and reason for the money so we can get it to the right place.
• The blue PTA folder comes home on Wednesdays.  Take everything out and look over the information.  Please return it to school the next day.
• Look at the red folder every day and initial it.  It contains important information about our classroom.
