Hardison's Highlights

Happy Birthday to Jacob on February 11th and to Fiona on February 17th!
Fiona will be our next "Star of the Week" starting February 22nd!

Congratulations to Julia, Rylan, Nathan, Shreya, Shrija, Sofia, and Fiona for sharing interesting summaries this week.  Nathan hit the 15 star goal and enjoyed lunch in the classroom with friends Friday and chose a novel prize from the class "Blastbox"!  Way to go, Nathan!

Congratulations to Phoenix, Matthew, and Fiona for being among the first students in the entire school to complete 360 minutes of reading for the Six Flags Reading Club!  Their names on written on cute monkeys in the tropical scene of the main hallway.
Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club
The Six Flags Reading Log will replace our class reading log until February 23, 2010.  Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading between Tuesday, Jan. 26th and Tuesday, Feb. 23rd will receive a free admission ticket to Six Flags Fiesta Texas!  Please encourage your child to record their reading and sign the green reading log located in their homework folder.  Logs are reviewed each Monday morning.  Hopefully our class will have 100% participation.

Thank you Fiona for the must needed prizes for our prize basket!
Parents, our dear class could use more prizes for our prize basket.  We use prizes as rewards for game winners and for students receiving 5 or more pluses each week.

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Wang for providing the photos for our January scrapbook pages!

Thank you Matthew for the scrapbook stickers and the supersoft Puffs tissues!

Happy Valentine's Day
Valentine Boxes-Students are asked to bring in decorated shoeboxes as soon as possible.  Boxes need a hole cut into the top and the student's name written boldly on top. Thanks Macey for being the first of our class to bring in your decorated box!
Valentines for classmates may come in on, or before Friday!  A list of student names was sent in last week's Tuesday folder.
