After graduating from Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State
University, I returned to my hometown of Abilene, TX where I taught
Kindergarten for six years. Upon my arrival to Austin in 1999, I was lucky
enough to earn a position teaching Fourth grade here at Canyon Creek
Elementary! I "looped" with my class to Fifth grade in 2001 where I have
enjoyed a permanent place with my current team. My husband, Kevin, is a
former middle and high school teacher as well! He currently is "Mr. Mom" to
our sons, Kosmo, who was born 2004, and Cash, born 2006. I enjoy live music
and relaxing in the great outdoors.
We, Mrs. Chrane's 5th grade class, are a unique group of friends learning
at Canyon Creek Elementary. Our mission for our last year at CCE includes
sharing our creative ideas with fellow peers and learning the academic
skills that will prepare us for the 6th grade and beyond! We need to work
as a team to create a great learning environment to benefit all students.
We must cooperate, respect each other, participate well, and believe in
ourselves to meet the standards of this challenge! We can accomplish this
by giving 110% to every effort we strive to reach. We must turn in quality
homework on time, stay organized, and be responsible for our learning.
