Wow! It is hard to believe that we are closing in on the holidays! My
office is in full swing....Reading buddies (4th/K and 5th/1st) are going
well, PRO's (my Westwood juniors and seniors) continue to work with our
students, and classroom guidance is up and running!
The week of November 2nd, I started my small groups--grades K-5. Social
groups are just that--social! We talk about "life issues" such as
friendship, stress, emotions, etc. and it is a wonderful way to get to know
the children at CCE. This year, I have more than 125 students in small
groups. For this reason, I will be running my groups in three sessions with
each group coming to my office weekly for 7 weeks. The first session began
November 2nd and will end the week of January 4th. The second session will
begin January 11th and end the week of February 22nd. The third session will
begin the week of March 1st and end the week of April 19th. If your child is
participating in small group, I will email you when we begin and after we end
our sessions together. I look so forward to working with your children!
