Daily Homework Assignment:
*Organization is the key to success!!
Some homework assignments are individualized. Students write assignments in
their planners daily.
Bring in finished reading log Monday morning. 100 minutes + 100%!
Optional: Math Superstar due on Mondays.
***Homework Procedures***
Each 4th grade student has been supplied with a daily planner. Students are
responsible for writing their daily assignments down at the end of each
day. Please check their planner to see if they have completed their
assignments. It is very important for our students to be self-reliant as
they transition to fifth grade. Each student will be held accountable for
their homework!!!
However, I will say that the students normally have spelling and math
homework every night. The students are required to read for 20 minutes every
evening and record on the Weekly Reading Log Sheet.
Parents--your homework is to check your child's Tuesday folders each week
and sign the sheet on the front of the folder. Please look through this
folder for important information and any papers that need to be signed.
This is a great opportunity to go over your student's work with them. I
feel it is important to look through problems or questions that were missed
and try to figure out the correct answer, or to understand why it was
missed. We learn from our mistakes!
