Read to Self Read to Someone | ***Your child should be reading nightly. Please record your child’s home reading in his/her student planner each night. I will check planners every Friday to assure that all students are reading at least 60 minutes per week. Please have the week’s total minutes read tabulated and circled in the yellow Friday box in the planner.
Please encourage your child to read, read, read!

***Practice basic addition and subtraction facts. Work on instant recall with flash cards, software, and playing cards. ***Revisit math concepts taught earlier this year, telling time, counting money, and addition and subtraction with regroupsing.
***Review all math pages in the Tuesday folder with your child and practice all skills yet to be mastered.

Your child is required to read at least 60 minutes each week. Please keep a record of this reading in your childfs student planner. Please initial and tally the total minutes read for that week. I will be checking these logs every Wednesday.
