Notes for Parent Readers

TIMING…. Our designated parent reader time is 2:20-2:40. Please come to school a bit early in order for you to have time to sign in at the office and arrive out in the classroom by 2:15. As soon as you get to our classroom, come right in and I will gather the children together so you can start reading. J

GETTING A SUB…If you can’t make it at your scheduled day, please attempt to get a parent to take your spot. You may be able to work out a trade.

BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS…Please bring in a couple of picture books to read to the class, enough to read for about 20 minutes. These can be favorite books from home or books you’ve checked out from our library ahead of time. I know you will select books the whole class will enjoy. Please avoid any books having any religious nature.

The children just love having guest readers and so do I! Thank you for volunteering!
