News and Information Week of Nov. 23rd and Nov. 30th
The Turkey Tango was awesome! I am so proud of your children! What fun to see them singing with Mrs. Martin. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. J So sorry we didn’t stay to take a group picture after the performance. We had to get back to the room, because the Spanish teacher was coming for her weekly lesson. I did print pictures that I took last week that I will be sending home in the Tuesday folder today of your child dressed as a Pilgrim or Native American. I will also try to upload these to my website so you can download.
Last week we continued our study of Native Americans and Pilgrims. We discussed the Pilgrim lifestyle and the importance of their friendship with the Native Americans. When we return from the Thanksgiving holiday we will begin our Holiday studies with many fun and festive activities!
TUESDAY Folders: Please take some time during the busy holiday to look through your child’s folder and backpack. A permission form the next field trip is coming home. Also, a Thanksgiving Book lovingly made by your child is coming home.
SUPER STAR: We look forward to learning more about Aditi this week!
BOOK ORDERS: Thanks to everyone who ordered from Scholastic. If you would like
for it to be a surprise, please let me know.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES/ASSIGNMENTS:

· Someone to make a Tuesday Folder and Poetry Folder schedule for the remainder of the school year (Please let me know if you want to be added or taken off these rotations)
