We are now learning about fractions in 3rd Grade TAG Math. Students have been using pattern blocks to determine the fractional amounts for each shape. Students have created designs with their pattern blocks and labeled them with the appropriate fractions. This week we will continue to use pattern blocks, but we will begin adding and subtracting with fractions.
