I grew up in Victoria, Texas and graduated from Victoria High School. I went
to the University of Texas and majored in Human Development, graduating with
a Bachelor of Science. After that, I worked in the corporate world for two
years and came to the realization that my heart and I belonged in Education.
This is my second year teaching at Canyon Vista Middle School.
I got married on March 22, 2008. During college I was a UT cheerleader, and
my husband played football for UT. HOOK 'EM HORNS!! My husband and I live in
Round Rock with our Boxer named Floyd Lloyd Boyd.
I am looking forward to another fun and exciting year at Canyon Vista.

This year we will have fun learning and exploring science. My goal
is to promote the love of science through the use of hands-on activities
designed to get students thinking individually and creatively.
