Monday's Math Homework:
Your child will have a math assignment every Monday that will be sent
home in the Monday folder. It will be due on Tuesday. In second grade we
teach character traits such as responsibility, which is listed on the report
card. If your child is late turning in their homework assignment 4 or more
times in a nine week grading period it will be reflected on report card.
Wednesday's Reading Homework:
Every Wednesday your child will have oral reading homework. After
October 16th they will be responsible for writing a summary of what they
read. Until then they need to read out loud for 20 minutes each Wednesday.
Please sign their yellow folder Reading Calendar on this day indicating the
amount of time your child read aloud.
