Math- Topics 16 and 18 Customary Linear Measures. Students need to be able to
measure to the nearest half inch and quarter of an inch and be able to use
and convert inches, feet, yards and miles. The test is scheduled for 12/8.
Spelling- Ms. Woosley's group has the min words (test on 12/11)
Ms. Bourque's class has the List 13 words more re & un words sent home on
12/1 for a test on 12/4.
Language Arts-We are studying biographies, revising and completing non-
fiction reading in Time For Kids. The next two Night Writes are due Friday.
Journals will be collected for grading this Friday, 12/4. Students have this
week to revise. Please look at previous problem areas to assist your child in
making improvements.
Science-Test on Soil Section B-2 is Wednesday, 12/16.We have completed the
vocabulary and will start the experiments and reading the chapter lessons on
12/2.
Social Studies-Students have finished their Missions projects and are
studying Chapter 5 Settlers in North America and Texas. Study sheets were
sent home before Thanksgiving. The test is this Friday, 12/4.
