I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work in a variety of
roles within Round Rock ISD. These teaching positions include High School
Biology, Middle School Physical Education and Coaching, Elementary Physical
Education, and Adapted Physical Education. Now I am happy to be back “home”
at Kathy Caraway in Elementary PE. All of these experiences have given me a
great perspective on working with students and helping them learn.
My own formal education is from the University of Texas. Along the way I
earned a BA in Exercise Physiology and a MBA in Marketing/Management.
Teaching Certifications include Biology, Health, Special Education, and
Physical Education. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist.
I continue to learn daily about so many things from the students and staff
at Caraway Elementary. My two boys (actually young men), Chris and David,
are also some of my best teachers.
