The 2008- 2009 school year is my 31st year of teaching and my 31st year working in Round Rock ISD. As a dyslexia specialist, I travel to three campuses-Caraway, Great Oaks and Canyon Vista and work with dyslexia students. Before becoming a dyslexia specialist, I taught kindergarten, first and second grades. I am a National Board Certified Teacher or NBCT, with certification as an Early Childhood Generalist or EC/GEN.

Away from school, I sew, read, shop and spend time with my family. My husband, Ken works for Lacks Furniture Store as a manager. Our daughter, Meghan is completing her business degree. Our son, Tyler is a eleventh grader at Round Rock High School. He keeps me busy as his personal taxi driver, driving him to Dragon Band, ice hockey, and scouts.
