I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. I always wanted to be a teacher. My
grandmother and mother were both teachers. I graduated from Stephen F.
Austin State University in Nacogdoches. My first teaching job was in a
small east Texas school with one class for each grade. When I married my
husband,Ray,I moved to Sealy, TX. Ray taught history and coached tennis at
the high school. I taught 5th grade then 1st grade. I love first grade!
After moving to Arlington I got a job at Glenn Harmon and I taught there for
17 years. Now I am teaching at the best school, Carol Holt Elementary. We
have great students, faculty, and parents.
I have 5 grown children. Their names are Eric, Matthew, David, Amy, and
Paul. My dog is Chase. We all enjoy spending time together.
