About The Teacher

I have been teaching first grade for 24 years.  I love to see children learn 
and all aspects of education are important to me.  I am married to a 
wonderful man named John.  We have been married for 42 years.  We have two 
grown sons, Chris and Sean.  We have two dogs, Joey and MacGregor.  I am so 
very happpy to be at Holt for the third year.  I was at Charlotte 
Anderson when it opened.  I was at Glenn Harmon when it opened.  Now I am so 
lucky to be here with all of you at Carol Holt Elementary.  Carol Holt 
was the first vice principal I ever worked for.  We are  going to have an 
exciting year!

Mission For The Class

My mission is to begin at the beginning with each and every student and to 
take them as far as they can possibly go.  I think each child will be 
productive in this environment and will enjoy learning the many wonderful 
and interesting things we study in first grade.
