Students have been assessed in the areas of fluency and comprehension
using the DRA2 assessment. Please contact me if you have not received
information about your child's assessment.
We are working on finding main ideas and questioning strategies. Your child
will have the first "20 and 2" due this Fri.
Upcoming instruction will include introducing strategies to include
activating background knowledge, finding main ideas, supporting details,
cause/effect, sequencing, visualization, point of view, characterization,
and summary writing.
Please read with your child; talk about the reading and share
