MAKE A NAME TAG
First name then last name.
All caps.

Micro type pro
Three words per minute tests using Micro Type Pro and the letter that is on 
the stand on top of your computer..  Print when you finish, staple them 
together and put them in the class file box.

ASSIGNMENT MUST HAVE: 
Set up show with loop.
Slide transition with 5 seconds and apply to all.
Custom anitmation with an entance and exit for the picture and the text

Description: Your new band is releasing a new CD and planning a summer 
tour.  Use Microsoft Word and the Web to make both a huge success.
	
Internet Explorer:  Research and gather information on tour sites, 
stadiums, and travel information.	
Word:  Create a cover page and create an introduction about your band.
Create your tour schedule.  Include: places, addresses, dates, a map of how 
to get to each concert and prices of tickets.  
PowerPoint:  Create a slide show.
Publisher:  Design a brochure on the band.

Description:  Choose a sport and select three of your favorite players in 
that sport.  Use Publisher and the Web to find out everything you can about

Description: You are moving away from home whether you want to or not.  Use 
Microsoft Word and the web to pull it off successfully.
Internet Explorer: Research and gather information on the city you are 
moving to, where to live, what to do, find a job, etc.
Publisher:    Create a cover page that includes pictures of the city that 
you are moving to and information about your jobs and where you are planning 
to live. 
PowerPoint: Create a Slide show about your new city, job, home, etc.
Publisher: Create a tri-fold brochure about all the great things to do when 
your friends come and visit.

packet.  After you finish print it out and hand it to Mr. Lindsey then go 
back to your desk and save it to the disruptive student file in Mr. 
Lindseys assignment folder.
Failure to follow directions will result in more discipline packets and a 
phone call to your parents.

CLASSROOM CREED
 I will enter  the classroom  quietly, and be seated before the tardy bell 
rings. I will not stand in front of the door.  I will keep my feet out of 
the seat and on the floor at all times.  I will pay attention to the lesson, 
bring homework if requested, follow communication guidelines when I need to 
be recognized and wait for the teacher to recognize me.  I will take a 
serious approach to my studies.  I will not talk or be disruptive when the 
teacher is teaching.  I will not waste time or complain about the classroom 
instructions.  THE TEACHER IS IN CHARGE OF THE CLASSROOM AT ALL TIMES.  I 
will not write anything on the desk.  I will title my paper using the 
correct procedure.  I WILL SHOW THE UTMOST RESPECT TO MY CLASSMATES AND MY 
TEACHER.  I must ask permission to speak to someone at another desk.  I will 
not sing, whistle, blurt out,or make noise in the classroom.  It disturbs 
other students and the teacher.  I do not have the right to prevent someone
