Welcome! This is my seventh year in teaching, and my fifth year at
Cedar Valley Middle School. I have a B.A. in Sociology from Louisiana Tech
University (Go Bulldogs!), as well as masters degree in education. I taught
American Literature (11th grade) for 2 years in Dallas, and started my
career as a TAG Language Arts teacher in Louisiana. I am excited about the
upcoming year in 8th grade Language Arts. I am a huge fan of the New Orleans
Saints (my home team!) and Houston
Astros and spend my free time being crafty and playing around with
photography.
We will exploring the theme of “justice for all” through reading and writing
in different genres and for different purposes.
