Congratulations to the boys soccer team for winning District Champs last 
night beating Hopewell in the final 42 seconds of the game with a score of 4-
3.

The last day to dress out will be Wednesday May 23. We will take up locks 
Thursday May 24.

6th GRADE GIRLS WORTH THE WAIT STARTS MONDAY APRIL 2-APRIL 6.

District Track Meet will be held on Monday April 2 and Tuesday April 3. Only 
the girls in FIELD EVENTS will compete on Monday. All girls RUNNING EVENTS 
will be on Tuesday April 3rd.

SOCCER TRYOUTS

Soccer Tryouts for boys and girls will be held March 29th and 30th after 
school from 3:30 until 5:00. Please read the details below:

- Only 7th and 8th graders may tryout
- Students must have a current physical ON FILE with the Coaches
- There will be NO MAKEUPS
- The teams will consist of between 20-22 players made up with both 7th and 
8th graders.
- There will only be two teams... One girls team and one boys team.

6th GRADE WORTH THE WAIT WILL NOT START UNTIL MONDAY APRIL 2.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 8TH GRADE LADY JAG A AND B AND THE 7TH GRADE A 
BASKETBALL TEAMS FOR BECOMING THE 2012 UNDEFEATED DISTRICT CHAMPS!!! THE 7TH 
GRADE B TEAM FINISHED THE SEASON IN 2ND. WAY TO GO LADIES. SO PROUD OF ALL OF 
YOU!

Congratulations to the 7th and 8th girls A Team Basketball teams for winning 
1st place in the RRISD tournament this past weekend. The 7th grade defeated 
Ridgeview, Canyon Vista, and Hopewell to win the championship. The 8th grade 
girls A Team defeated Ridgeview, Canyon Vista and Walsh to win the 
championship game. Way to go LADY JAGS!!

DECEMBER.....
PLEASE SEND SWEATS WITH YOUR CHILD FOR THE WINTER DAYS!!!! ANY COLOR WILL DO. 
WE WILL BE OUTSIDE A LOT BECAUSE WE STILL ONLY HAVE 1 GYM! WALMART HAD SOME 
FOR $3. NOT DRESSING OUT WILL AFFECT THEIR GRADE.

6th/7th Gr. P.E.
Parents,
   Please feel free to send water bottles with your child for PE. It is a 
very hot time of year and we will be outside a lot. With all of the 
construction out back we can't send in too many students to the 8th grade 
wing to get water because the back doors are loud and disturb the classes in 
that hallway. But hydration should start when they wake up in the morning. 
Make sure your children are drinking plenty of fluids each day !

PE and Athletic clothes are still on sale for $25 a set. Or you may buy the 
shirt for $10 or the shorts for $15 seperately.
