Ms. Lake

This is my third year teaching in Round Rock. I have been in a FLS classroom 
for the last ten years. I am excited to see my students from last year 
return, and to meet the incoming students. I look forward to developing a 
relationship not only with the students but the parents as well. I will be 
getting to know everyone in the coming months and want you to get to know the 
adults in our unit.

I live in Pflugerville in the Blackhawk addition. I have three grown 
children, a daughter in Pflugerville, who has my two grandchildren. Sydney 
is 12 and Dalton is 10. Dalton is autistic and non-verbal, he is the light of 
my life and my drive to help other children. Sydney is a typical 7th grader 
and one of my best friends. My oldest son in in Iraq, he comes home about 
twice a year, so I don't see him alot. My youngest son is also in the area 
and manages the ALTECH computer store in Austin. Both my sons are die hard 
Texas fans, this causes a conflict since myself and my grandaughter are A&M 
fans. We have some interesting family dinners on game day.

Alex is a huge part of my life, and has been for many years. He always makes 
me laugh and he understands and shares my passion to help my students.

I have two yorkies, Harley, who is totally spoiled and Peanut who is a 
rescue. They are my babies and believe me they know it.
