I graduated in May 2006 from Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas) with a
Multidisciplinary Studies Degree for grades 4-8, certified to teach
Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies.
I have lived most of my life in the Austin area, and am a Round Rock
Alumni. I attended Spicewood Elementary, Canyon Vista Middle School, and
Westwood High School and have returned to teach in what I think is, the
GREATEST School District!
Things I love include… milk chocolate, Italian food, Mexican food, Big
Red, baked goods, pink, blue, the TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS, sunflowers,
soccer, teaching, my family/friends, and my pets (2 dogs/1 cat). Some of my
favorite television shows are The First 48, Crime 360, Desperate Housewives,
Grey's Anatomy, and Dog the Bounty Hunter.
My expectations are high for each of my students. I want us to do our best
to achieve the highest level of learning in this class. In order to do
that, we will learn to be better World Culture students, but we will also
learn how to be better people. We will work hard at becoming knowledgeable
about the different cultures that surround us by learning to respect and
regard each other, each culture, and each of our differences and
similarities in the highest terms possible.
