Six years ago, I joined the faculty of Cedar Valley M.S. Before that, I
taught at Deerpark M.S.
I am nationally certified (NBPTS) as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.
Since 1991, I have called Austin home. My four children, all graduates of
Westwood High School, live around the country. With three grandsons in
Idaho,I was delighted to have my first granddaughter born in Austin two weeks
before school started.
Other recent news: For the second year in a row, Ms. Shipp, an 8th grade math
teacher, and I were awarded a grant from the Junior League of Austin.
Building on last year's grant which focused on measurement, the new grant
will reinforce fraction concepts.
