Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Cedar Valley Community,
A new year presents new opportunities for various beginnings-new classes,
new faces, new friends and new experiences. My name is Rebecca Embry and I
am very pleased to return to the position of Assistant Principal for Cedar
Valley Middle School. Along with Mrs. Robertson the counselor, one of my
responsibilities for this upcoming school year will include working with the
8th grade class and the 7th grade class with last names A-L.
I will be returning to CeVMS for my second year and am an educator with
sixteen years of experience. Over the last thirteen years I have been serving
students on middle school campuses in a variety of roles. It is with great
dedication and excitement that I serve our community and look forward to
navigating the middle school journey with each of you.
I was born and raised in Vermont and received my bachelor’s degree from the
University of Vermont. I received my master's degree from Texas State
University in the spring of 2009. I am married and have two young sons in
elementary school. My family also includes two family pets, Skipper and
Wilson.
