Sign-ups for UIL will begin in December!
All 6th, 7th, & 8th graders are highly encouraged to participate!
Coaches and events are as follows:
Art = Mrs. Hance, Maps, Graphs & Charts = Ms. Moore, Calculator Applications = Mrs. Shipp, Science 7th & 8th = Mrs. Persad, Spelling = Mrs. Humphries, Listening Skills = Ms. May, Oral Reading = Mrs. Baker, Modern Oratory = Mrs. Maxwell, Music Memory = Mrs. Murdock, Dictionary Skills = Mr. Esquivel, Number Sense = Mrs. Barksdale, and Ready Writing = Ms. Rose.
We’ll host a UIL Kick-Off Party on Tuesday, December 8th after school from 3:30 to 4 PM in the library. All coaches will be there to give information, passes to practices, and to sign up students for their event.
The actual contest is at Deerpark Middle School on Saturday, February 20
th from 7:30 AM to about 1 PM.
