Honor and Symphonic Band

Concert Reminder

 

Wednesday, December 2nd: Holiday Concert at the Round Rock Performing Arts Center across from McNeil High School.

 

Arrival Time: Symphonic Band 6:45pm, Honors Band  6:30pm

Warm-up room: Both groups will warm-up in the Green Room

 Uniform:  Formal Uniforms:  Ladies: Black Dresses, Black Shoes

Gentleman: Black Tux pants, Black Tux Vest, Tux Shirt(you can purchase these at Michaels or Hobbie Lobby), Black Shoes and socks.

 

The concert will start promptly at 7:00pm with the Beginning Band and will end no later than 9:00pm. 

 

Honor Band: We will be taking a full band picture on stage in or formal uniforms.  Be prepared to stay a little longer. We will also be taken section pictures at 6:30.  That is why I am having you arrive earlier.  We will submit these picture for our Midwest International entry.  Parents: We will have order forms if you wish to purchase a picture of the full band, their section or both.

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009: Holiday Concert Rehearsal in the Band Hall. 3:35pm-5:00pm

 

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009: Holiday Concert at the Round Rock Performing Arts Center across from McNeil High School.   Students should arrive for warm-up on stage at 6:30pm. After you perform you will be seating in the front center rows of the Performing Arts Center as a class to listen to the Symphonic and Honor Bands. Please be respectful during these performances by not talking. Are there any parents who can help us out by sitting with this group?  It is a real learning experience.  :  )

Both days are requirements and are major grades.  We are anticipating an 8:45pm finish time.
