About The Teacher
Mrs. Deaton is here to help you through the first year of middle school. 6th grade can be stressful, but everyone is successful. I have worked in the elementary and middle school areas for 18 years in education. I am a busy mother to three children (a freshman, a 7th grader, and a 5th grader) I love to read and travel. A recent trip has taken me all the way to Cairo, Egypt. I love working at Chisholm Trail Middle School and helping all students become life long learners. Ms. Walters has been at CTMS since April of 2000 after teaching high school for ten years. I have one son, Ryan who attends Round Rock HS and two dogs Max and Jax. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Vocational Home Ecoonomics from South West Texas State University (now Texas State University) and a Master's of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. I enjoy shopping, jogging, and traveling. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year!
