About The Teacher
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University (Whoop!), and I am thrilled to be returning for my fourth year at Chisholm Trail. I love to watch basketball and take any chance I can to root for the Aggies or the reigning champion Dallas Mavericks. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, working out, drinking diet coke, and listening to live music. I definitely encourage parental involvement! Please keep me informed of any struggles or successes at home, or just let me know if you have a question that I can answer for you. Mission
My biggest goal as a teacher is that each student leaves my classroom feeling confident in himself or herself. No matter what background students bring to this class, we will seek to find their strengths and build upon them to gain a greater understanding of the science and the world around us. Beyond that, I hope to help my students build a community of respect with one another. We will work often in groups this year in an effort to hone our communication skills and to take turns teaching and learning from each other.
