About The Teacher
Mrs. Kutz began teaching Art in public/private schools in Texas in the fall of 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, concentrating in Studio Art (painting, metals, and Art History). She received her teaching certification in 1990. Mrs. Kutz has also enjoyed a successful freelance art career beginning at the age of 13 when she sold several acrylic paintings for the first time. She has continued to paint both for leisure and professionally throughout her life working on canvas, on walls, and any other surface suitable to painting. Mrs. Kutz is married to Mr. Kutz who teaches Math at RRHS, and has two children that also attend Round Rock schools. Her family includes 2 dogs and 4 cats. Mrs. Kutz enjoys teaching Art because she loves sharing her talent and knowledge with kids as well as having the opportunity to experience new ideas and ways of making art with them.
