Curriculum Focus for the week of Dec. 14 - 18, 2009

Advanced Art 8
Exam week!  My students will be completing work for their exam in Adbvanced Art 8.  This week we complete an altered book project on  If I were a crayon, what color would I be and why? Due on Wednesday, December 16th.  Be sure to check the Altered Book page.  We are working to our painting unit in acrylics.  Students are working on self-portraits and continue to explore color in a new medium.  They also have practiced the Durer Technique as they work towards realism in their portraits. In addition, each student should have their six "coaster" ideas completed and ready for assessment.  Get to tutorials if you need extra time!!!  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Mr. Lowke
