</STRONG></SPAN>Tim Lowke is in his nineteenth year teaching with Round Rock ISD and began working for the district in 1988.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>Currently visual art teacher and Fine Arts Department Chair at <st1:place>Chisholm Trail</st1:place> Middle School, Tim has also taught at <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Westwood</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>High School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> (1988), Purple Sage Elementary (1989-2000) and was a founding faculty member at Caldwell Heights Elementary (2000).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education in 1988 from the <st1:place><st1:PlaceType>University</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName>Texas</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> at Austin and his Masters of Education in Education Administration in 1994 from <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Texas</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>State</st1:PlaceType> <st1:PlaceType>University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>, <st1:City><st1:place>San Marcos</st1:place></st1:City>.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV align=left></FONT><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Along with his teaching duties, Tim also works as the Round Rock ISD Visual Art Curriculum Specialist.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>His duties include providing support under the Director of Fine Arts to the district's elementary, middle school and high school visual art faculty at over 30 campuses through staff development delivery and planning, art programming, curriculum and community outreach initiatives.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV align=left></FONT><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">In 2006, Mr. Lowke was named a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholar and as such, traveled with 199 other educators from across the <st1:country-region><st1:place>United States</st1:place></st1:country-region> to <st1:country-region><st1:place>Japan</st1:place></st1:country-region> in order to experience Japanese culture, society political and education system first-hand.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV align=left></FONT><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">In addition to his time with Round Rock ISD, Tim also worked at the <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Austin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName>Museum</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> of Art as Associate Director of The Art School/Laguna Gloria where he oversaw curriculum, volunteers, daily school management and faculty.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>He has served at Region IV Representative for the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) and has been a presenter at conferences locally, regionally, statewide and at the national level.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>In addition to his school district duties, Tim continues as a faculty member with the <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Austin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName>Museum</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> of <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Art</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName>School</st1:PlaceName></st1:place> working with adult learners.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV align=left></FONT><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">In 2007, Mr. Lowke achieved National Board of Professional Teaching Standards Certification and became a National Board Certified Teacher - Art / Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood.</FONT></DIV>
