About The Teacher
Ms. Hanna grew up in Wimberley, Texas, and attended Trinity University in San Antonio. Prior to beginning her teaching career, she worked as an event planner for five years. Ms. Hanna completed her Masters degree in Elementary Education at Texas State University with dual emphasis in Gifted Education and Educational Technology. She later completed a graduate practicum in Auckland, New Zealand. Ms. Hanna served as a TAG Facilitator at Fern Bluff Elementary in Round Rock for three years. She then moved to Barcelona, Spain, to work at the Benjamin Franklin International School, where she taught fifth grade and seventh grade math, and later worked as the Advanced Academic Services Coordinator. This is her second year at Chisholm Trail Middle School. Her interests include the San Antonio Spurs, travel, movies, music and literature. When she is not teaching she can be found out enjoying Austin and the Hill Country.
