  • Review calendar outlines of Bag Of Puppets (BOP) project.
  • Sit in circle and introduce toad puppet and pass around circle with each student introducing the toad puppet as their own character.
  • Share personal pet stories.
  • Homework: Write 1-page story about an adventure about the pet toad.

  • After a few stories, discuss qualities of interesting and engaging stories.

  • Sit in a circle and continue sharing pet adventure stories.
  • Make a brainstorm idea map of qualities of a successful puppet show. Students should copy the idea map in their journal as it is written on the board.
