PTA Membership

How Much Does it Cost?

Membership dues are $7.00 per individual or $11 per family.

How Do I Join?

Fill out the PTA Membership form(which can be found on the CE website or requested from school) and then send it with your dues in a sealed envelope addressed to "PTA Membership".

Have your child give the envelope to his/her teacher.

Every member of our local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the Texas state and National PTA. Upon joining you receive a PTA membership card with a user id and password for accessing "Members Only" sections of the national and state PTA websites.

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to all adults eager to support excellence in education at Cimarron Elementary School subject to the PTAs bylaws and standing rules and within the rules and guidelines of Cimarron Elementary School and the Katy Independent School District.

We desire in our membership a wide diversity of gender, cultures, races, ethnicities, creeds, and economic and educational status. Our desired PTA member is you - mother, father, grandparents, aunt, uncle, sister or brother. You are the next door neighbor, community professionals, and the members of the education community. You don't necessarily have children in the school, just be committed to enhancing the education experience of Cimarron Elementary students.

Our goal is 100% student representation through membership by a parent, grandparent, or guardian.  Both parents are asked to join.
