Martin Luther King Day Extra Credit Assignment

Create a poster of an African-American mathematician.  Include the following:

1. Name

2. Picture if possible.

3. Date of Birth (and Death if applicable)

4. Education

5. Major contributions to math and/or highlights of their career.

6. Decorations/Graphics of your choice.

This poster is due on Friday, February 1, 2008.  You will receive up to 25 test points, which will apply to the fourth six-weeks.  Please make the posters worthy of being put up for display.  One of the best sources for this project can be found at www.math.buffalo.edu/mad/madgreatest.html.
