| I really appreciate everyones concern as I continue to heal.
This was such an unexpected bump in life's road.
My hope is to return when school in mid February. Hopefully this will
happen.
Many of you have asked what you can do to help. My request is two fold.
1)Please keep me and my family in your thoughts. This really really helps.
2)Personally if you would like, please send gift cards. We use these on the
nights when the days have been extremely difficult.
More than anything thank you for thinking of me.

Read in your mystery book so that you may complete the PLAYBILL assignment
due Friday Nov 3rd. Details coming.
We are finishing research and the papers with the speeches will be due next
week.
We have started the play: Anne Frank. We are working on a journal for our
reading. This MAJOR PROJECT is due February 16th.
We will begin the Diary of Anne Frank very soon. Be sure to check the
calendar section for an update on assignments.
We have completed our reading of the novel. We will have several ending
projects for the book. We will culminate our reading with a BOOK DISCUSSION--
-where each student is requested to bring a snack to share. This will be
handled just like round table discussion on a book.
We have read the first half of our book in class. We will pick it back up
after the holidays. I am so sorry it has been difficult to obtain a copy--I
will let you know the first week in January our next novel so you will have
plenty of time to secure a copy. It helps the student to be able to use
reading strategies in their books.
I have given each student a copy of the reading schedule for PIG. If you are
absent---keep up with your readings.
We will begin reading "A Day No Pigs Would Die" by Peck on Friday! Please
try to secure your own copy of the book!
Finish memorizing your lines.

I am going to to continue to update my website weekly. I am trying to find
the best way to add my lesson plans. I will continue to post via calendar
and homework, but eventually I will combine the two together. Continue to
