the sidewalk, pointed to Maren
and commented to his
friend, "Hey, check out the duck
baby!" What a moron! Maren is
clearly wearing a penguin hat,
not a duck hat! Crazy New Yorkers!

actually preferring to run even,
with either myself or her mother
running quickly after her to keep
her from destroying something or
endangering herself...

This is me in front of the famous
Westminister Abbey in London,
England, where all of the kings
and queens of Britain are
crowned. Laura, my wife, and I
went there in August of 2006 as
our last cool trip together and
alone before we had our daughter
Maren.

This is my wife Laura and I at a
wedding for her cousin in
Mineral Wells. My wife taught in
GCISD at Dove Elementary for 7
years, but just moved to
Northwest ISD to teach 2nd grade
at a new elementary school, O.A.
Peterson, to be closer to home
and spend more time with Maren.

both of us I thought and one of
the few I didn't manage to ruin
by blinking my eyes....Man, that
flash is too bright!
