This is my first year as a teacher in the MISD and DJMS. I served in
another capacity at DJMS for the last two years. I received my Bachelor of
Science Degree in History, Health and Physical Education from Texas A&M-
Commerce 1n 1974; and subsequently, my Master of Science Degree in Guidance
and Counseling from the same university in 1975. I retired from a law
enforcement career after 30 years in 2005.
I'm excited to have the privilege to teach your child the history of our
great nation. My motto is to keep your child's learning experiences simple,
exciting and challenging. I encourage my students to set high standards and
try to achieve them. It is my desire for them to succeed in a historical
learning partnership, and continue their successful path as an informed
history student.
